Let's get this "most expensive" fine stuff going, now on the same classy level I present you with a list of the most expensive Whiskeys around. A real gentleman treat, but not for every wallet. I appreciate a fine whiskey from time to time although it not being something I consume with much regularity, either way I've decided to share this top list with you.
From less to most expensive:
Ladybank Distillery is located in Edinburgh, Scotland. There are only 300 bottles that are sold to Single Malt Scotch that is produced every year. And to buy it, You must be a member before, and the price is about $ 4,700.
9. The Macallan Fine and Rare 1947 ($ 6.800)
The Speyside scotch is produced first in 1962 prior reproduced by Macallan’s Fine and including rare whiskey. Distillation using peat, because of the scarcity and high price of coal during World War II, bottles that’s produced in 1947, has the best quality is no longer present in modern Macallans. The price of this whiskey is about $ 6,800.
8. Chivas Regal Royal Salute ($ 10,000)
One of the most special because of its production of products specifically for the inauguration of Elizabeth Queen II in 1953. Chivas Regal Royal Salute epidemic, aged around 50 and has a unique taste of sweet raisins and the sour. There are only 255 bottles that’s produced, 10 of them to America, and the price of this whiskey is about $ 10,000 per bottle.
7. The Macallan 1939 ($ 10,125)
Macallan’s 1939 is a 40 year old first bottled in 1979, The “Peaty and powerful,” with overtones of sweet toffee and dried Fruits. In 2002, it was added to the Distillery’s Fine and Rare line and re-bottled. The price of this whiskey is about $ 10,125.
6. Glenfarclas 1955 ($ 10,878)
It is the oldest batch ever bottled by the Glenfarclas Distillery, Wealthy tasters are warned to Overlook this richly scented Speyside 50 year old at their own “Peril” Spicy and silky with a sweet start. The price of this whiskey is about $ 10,878.
5. Dalmore Decanter ($ 11,000)
There are only 60-cut crystal bottles of this single Highland malt were Produced. It’s filled in 1978, this dark-aged sherry Dalmore has a reputation for being intense and Deeply flavored, and is considered by many aficionados between the best 50 years old in the world. The price of this whiskey is about $ 11,000.
4. The Macallan Lalique Crystal Decanter ($ 12.500)
the taste is smooth with lingering citrus overtones, exotic, with hints of peat smoke. The eye-catching crystal bottle of Macallan’s 55 year old was based on a Lalique perfume bottle 1910 Designed by Rene Lalique. The price of this whiskey is about $ 12,500.
3. Glenfiddich Rare Collection 1937 ($ 20,000)
There is only one bottle of Glenfiddich Rare Collection 1937′s was ever Produced, and it just might be the oldest bottle of whiskey in the world. Rare does not describe about it. The price of this whiskey is about $ 20,000.
2. Dalmore 62 Single Highland Malt Scotch ($ 58,000)
There are only 12 bottles which packaging in a dozen bottles of Dalmore 62 single malt Were corked in 1942. The price of this whiskey is about $ 58,000 and one night in 2005, a man bought a bottle and downed it with five of his buddies.
1. The Macallan Fine and Rare 1926 ($ 75,000)
In 2005, a South Korean businessman paid $ 70,000 for a bottle of Macallan’s 1926, the finest and rarest of the Fine and Rare.
